Administration from everywhere: |
RangeeLinux makes it possible to administer a ThinClient from any workstation. Each ThinClient is endowed with a Webportal. The administrator establishes a connection to the Rangee ThinClient by enterring the IP-address in a webbrowser. After entering his password he can adjust all configurations of the ThinClient. |

Remote Management Software: |
Rangee offers with the TCMS, the Thin Client Managment Server, a simple and safe solution for the remote administration of numerous ThinClients, simultaneously. ThinClients put into a 'group' will get the exact same configuration. Also, configurations can be passed on to 'subgroups'. Additionally, the TCMS offers the possibility of scheduling actions. This way updates and others things can be done during out of office times. Get more Information here » |

Widescreen Resolutions: |
Rangee Linux supports all standard and widescreen resoultions. With automatic detection Rangee Linux detects the possible resoultion supported by the display. There is also the possibility of using a user-defined resoultion for special formats, such as Full HD at 1920x1080 and others. |

Multi Display Support: |
RangeeLinux offers simple settings to run multiple displays on one ThinClient. This way Rangee ThinClients equipped with two graphic-ports can handle two displays with two single-sessions on each display or one session spread over two displays. Also Rangee supports the Matrox Epica TC2/TC4 graphics-cards in some of its ThinClients and in PCs with the PC-Stick solution. In this case you can use four displays on one ThinClient or PC. |

Printer Support: |
Printers can be connected (over USB and parallel port) to a Rangee ThinClient, locally . They can also be used as a network-printer, which can be enabled for the different terminal-sessions. A Rangee works with JetDirect, CUPS and a few more printing standards. The printer-driver can be installed on the Terminalserver and also locally on the ThinClient, if it is needed. |

Drive Mapping: |
RangeeLinux allows the mapping of Disk Drives. So you can use USB-sticks, external CD-Roms and other drives in your Terminalserver connections. Drives can be dicovered automatically - hence not every single drive needs to be installed manually. Just connect a USB-stick to a ThinClient and its done! Also digital cameras, which are detected as mass-storage, can be used via the USB port. The administrator also has the possibility to lock the USB-ports for drives on a ThinClient . |

Languages & Keyboard-layouts: |
The Rangee ThinClients' language settings can be altered without a reboot. The languages "German" and "English" are offered in the configuration-menu. Nearly all different keyboard-layouts are integrated in Rangee Linux. Remarkably, also the Swiss layout and a layout for special "Trimodal" keyboards work out of the box. |
